Give Thanks ~ Day 2

Today, I'm sharing Molly and I's lists for day 2 of  the 'Give Thanks' Challenge.

We've had a busy day full of parties (both online and in-person), chores, school, and just life together as a family. Yet, despite the busyness of the day, there's something sweet about sitting down to reflect on the various things I am thankful for today. 

Megan:

~early mornings full of the promise and hope of a new day

~family conversations

~financial resources

~an eternal future that is guaranteed -- nothing can tear me away from the Savior

~brisk fall walks through leaves and a cute downtown neighborhood

~sweet fellowship with friends

~knowing looks with my mom

Molly:

~That I can hope that there's no cleaning in Heaven

~Dreams

~That God's given me this life

~My love of writing

~Hope

~Friends (I mean the really, really special ones that you thank God for every day and the ones that you pray for every day)

~That Jesus is real and that He cares about us.  I can't imagine what the world would be like if He suddenly stopped caring for us.  I love you, Jesus! <3

Funny how thinking through the day and writing out this list, makes me re-think those "negative" situations of the day and look for God's hand in everything. Truly Christ is worthy of all our praise and adoration!
